Fourth of July’s Holiday Weekend Is the Perfect Time for These Cocktails!

The “Fourth of July” weekend is less than a week away. Now is the time to start assembling the items you need for your holiday BBQs as well as the various things you would want to drink. This post features 7 different cocktails!

I am sharing an array of different cocktails and brews over the next week so that you have enough time to shop for the various things you might want to have in your refrigerator. While most are spirit or wine-based sips, there will be some non-alcoholic beverages for you to test drive!

 

Zaya Gran Reserva Rum
Produced in Trinidad & Tobago, Zaya Gran Reserva is an ultra-premium rum composed of a blend of rare rums aged up to 16 years, carefully selected by the Zaya master blender to achieve a delicate balance and unique profile. On the palate, Zaya offers rich notes of vanilla, caramel, cocoa, apple, banana, and cherry and gives way to a heavy, velvety smooth finish (SRP $29.99).


Zaya Sip and Sail

Ingredients:
1 ⅕ oz Zaya Rum
1 ⅕ oz White Rum
2 oz. Lime Juice
Muddled Blackberries and Raspberries
3 Dashes Allspice Dram
1 Egg White

Directions:
Muddle the berries in a cocktail shaker
Separate the egg white from a fresh egg and add that into the shaker.
Pour in all the liquids.
Shake for about 30 seconds.
Add ice into the shaker,
Add in the Allspice,
Shake for 45 seconds and strain into a coupe glass.

Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka

Seagram’s Sweet Tea Arnold Palmer

Ingredients:

2 ozs of Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka
4 ozs of Lemonade
Garnish with Mint and Lemons

Directions:
Combine Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade over ice in a highball glass
Stir then garnish with mint and lemon

 

 

Seagram’s Vodka Southern Sweet Tea Jam

Ingredients: 

2 ounces Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka
1 ounce lemon juice
½ ounce simple syrup
1 bar spoon strawberry jam

Method:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice,
Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients ( at least 45 seconds to get it super-cold)
Strain into your glass over fresh ice.
Garnish & Enjoy!

Corralejo Tequila Spicy Grapefruit Sour

 

Ingredients:
2 ozs Corralejo Reposado Tequila
1 oz grapefruit juice
1 oz lime juice
½ oz jalapeño simple syrup
1 egg white

Method:
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients. Strain out ice and shake hard again. Strain into your glass. Garnish & Enjoy!

 

Corralejo Tequila Spicy Pineapple Paloma

Ingredients:
2 ozs Corralejo Silver Tequila
½ oz grapefruit juice
½ oz lime juice
½ sliced Serrano pepper
¾ oz agave syrup
Pineapple soda (to top)

Method:

Rim your glass with Tajín,
Add all ingredients except the bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice,
Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients,
Strain into your glass over fresh ice,
Top with pineapple soda,
Garnish & Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Directions:
Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into an up glass or on the rocks. Garnish with a lime wheel.

 

Cutwater Spirits The Bali Hai

Ingredients:
2oz Bali Hai Tiki Gold Rum
3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1/2oz Ginger Syrup
2oz Fresh Orange Juice
Angostura Bitters

Method:
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
Strain over ice in a tall glass,
Garnish with a lime wheel.
Add a straw and finish with 6 dashes of Angostura Bitters
