Mixing It Up! Father’s Day Cocktails with Angel’s Envy, Hennessy, + Haig Club!!

Father’s Day is definitely on my radar. I have been writing about it since late May and I am still not done yet. I know that Father’s Day is a great time for sharing cocktail recipes with the idea of giving the father in your life (whether brother, uncle, father, grandfather or husband) a bottle to celebrate this fun occasion!

Hennessy Father’s Day Cocktails

Ingredients:

· 2 oz Hennessy VSOP Privilege

· 1 bar spoon Yellow Chartreuse

· 1 bar spoon Honey Syrup (1:1)

· 3 dashes Peychaud Bitters

· 7 sage leaves

· Garnish: Sage Leaf

· Glass: Rocks

Method:
Add the sage leaves to the bottom of a mixing glass, press them with a muddler.
Add all other ingredients with ice and stir to chill.
Strain into a rocks glass and garnish with a sage leaf.

XO Cocktail: Brandy Cocktail

Ingredients:
· 2 oz Hennessy XO

· 2 dashes Angostura bitters

· 2 dashes regans orange bitters

· 1 bar spoon simple syrup (1:1)

· Garnish: Lemon Twist

· Glass: Rocks

Method:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice,
Stir to chill, s
Strain into a rocks glass,
Garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whisky

1 oz Sparkling Apple Soda

6 Dashes Ginger Bitters

Method: 

Serve over hand-cracked ice in either a highball or tumbler.
Garnish with a long slice of root ginger, ideally cut with a mandolin.

HAIG CLUB™ GREEN TEA & GRAIN

Green tea provides an unusual and delicate accompaniment for the nuance of Haig Club™ Single Grain Scotch Whisky.

Ingredients:

50ml Haig Club™,

20ml cold-brewed green tea,

2 dashes orange blossom water.

2 Units of alcohol

Method:  
Build  this cocktail in  a large tumbler on cubed (or hand-cracked) ice,

Garnish with an orange twist.

Angel’s Envy!

Man-Fashioned

Ingredients:
2 oz Angel’s Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Barrels
.5 oz Grand Marnier
.5 oz Montenegro Amaro
1 tsp brandied cherry juice (or bada bing)
3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Method:
Combine all ingredients in yarai rocks glass.
Stir, and strain over a large cube.
Garnish with an orange peel and a brandied (or bada bing) cherry.
