Shane McCassy As Innovator:
During his five-year tenure at the lifestyle wellness brand, Tone It Up, McCassy became aware of his true north; sustainability. Starting with his daily habits at the office, McCassy began to eliminate plastic and single-use water bottles from his everyday life. This mindset shift led him to the idea behind Hab. McCassy loved drinking water from his reusable water bottle, but often would turn to a plastic bottle or an aluminum can when he needed water with optimal flavor. After years of seeing the pile of waste resulting from single-use water bottles build-up, McCassy was inspired. Recognizing a gap in the market for a brand and product that aimed to solve this issue, McCassy began the development of Hab. As a result of much trial and error, the winning formula for Hab’s naturally flavored bits was born.
What Is HAB!
Hab is known as a water enhancement that can give water the flavor boost that is often provided in water in plastic bottles or metal cans. the newest water enhancement brand and product bringing not only great taste, but simplicity, sustainability, and philanthropy all in one ‘bit’! Three Lifestyle Tweaks We Can Add to Our Everyday Life to Live a Healthier Life by Shane McCassy of Hab
We all know that it’s important to eat more vegetables, eat less sugar, exercise more, and get better sleep etc. But while we know it intellectually, it’s often difficult to put it into practice and make it a part of our daily habits. Below are three shifts we can add to our every day to live a healthier life.
1. Adding Zen Aesthetics Your Space
The first for me would have to be “Clutter”. Clutter can mean a lot of things; however for me personally, when I have a messy environment around me, it can throw me off my game so I like to keep things simple with less clutter. My day always starts with making your bed every morning which then transfers to making good and often healthy decisions throughout your day.
Adding Routing
I’m a creature of habit through and through. I have my list of non-negotiables within my day that help bring structure to life that can oftentimes be chaotic. Those three non-negotiables are:
— a morning workout 4-5 days per week before I do anything else, oftentimes that start around 5:30-6 am.
The other two things are making time
–to have a good and healthy breakfast and lunch.
We are all busy doing things in our own life no matter what stage or level you’re at, but making a little bit of time to make sure you’re properly nourished will make you much more productive and feel better as you go about your day!
Adding Joy!
It’s so important you find joy in your healthy lifestyle. Being healthy and happy is not one size fits all. We’re all on our own journey at different junctures. So find joy in YOUR healthy lifestyle. Whether you enjoy a relaxing yoga session or a high-intensity workout, find what works for you, and make it part of your routine. You’ll never regret a workout.
These might be hard at first, but I believe once integrated anyone who adds these will live a happier and healthier life.

I think Hab sounds very interesting! I too have too many empty bottles and cans that contained plain and/or flavored water in my recycle bin. I am betting YOU do too! I like the idea of the HAB bits being dropped into water. The 2 citrus-based flavors sound great. I would love to see McCassy expand the flavor options!
