I don’t know about how you have held up during over this pandemic but it’s definitely affected my perspective on this summer. I miss going out to lunch with my friends, or meeting up for a cocktail and hanging out by the beach or at someone’s home for a BBQ. Summer is my favorite time of year but this year, it seems to be a challenge to my ability to be flexible and adaptable. Considering that we have had almost 2 weeks of non-stop HOT & HUMID weather in Southern California with temperatures in the 90s every single day and relentless humidity, the only option is to retreat indoors and make sure you have something interesting things to eat (hence my baking stuff at least once a week.) or have some beverages that are ready to sip or some that are worth mixing up.
