Thanksgiving is coming up fast! It’s the last-minute shopping that you might need to do or you have been asked to bring something to the family dinner and that could include bringing ingredients for a great cocktail (or two). Here are 5 cocktails that all have flavorful ingredients that work for a holiday dinner!
Melbourne Apple Sour
Ingredients:
2 oz Starward Two-Fold Whisky
3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 oz Egg White
Apple Cider, to top
METHOD:
Combine ingredients except for the apple cider in a shaker without ice.
Shake vigorously to whip up the egg whites.
Then add ice and shake again until very cold.
Double strain into a coupe glass and float apple cider on top.
Proper Cider
Ingredients
2 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
3 parts Warm Apple Cider
Cinnamon stick (optional)
Method:
Combine warm apple cider and Proper No. Twelve.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Chipotle Apple Cider Margarita
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Tanteo Chipotle Tequila
4 oz. Hot Apple Cider
1 oz. Fresh Orange Juice
0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
0.75 oz. Light Agave Nectar
Method:
Combine ingredients in a warmed Toddy Glass,
Stir to mix flavors.
Top with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Bubbly Berry Pineapple Mimosa
Ingredients
2 ounces of Seagram’s Pineapple Vodka
½ ounce of strawberry syrup
½ ounce in lemon juice
Top with champagne
Garnish with strawberry and citrus peel
Method:
Add everything to a shaker except the champagne.
Shake then strain into a champagne glass.
Top with champagne and garnish with a strawberry and citrus peel
Crystal Cranberry Skull
Ingredients
1 1⁄2 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
1 oz. Cranberry Syrup
1⁄2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Cucumber
Mint
Cranberries
Topped with Sparkling Wine
Method:
In a cocktail shaker, muddle two cucumber slices, 3-4 mint leaves, and 4-5 cranberries.
Add Crystal Head Vodka, cranberry syrup, lime juice, and plenty of ice.
Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass,
Top with sparkling wine.
Garnish with a mint and cranberry skewer.
