If you have been wondering why LA-Story.com has been MIA lately, there are some explanations. One of those explanations was a blog post that I wrote a couple weeks ago. The problems with my site started 3 weeks ago. I thought it was just my computer, but the problems with uploads were significant enough for me to realize it wasn’t my computer. And having to wait 10 minutes for an upload of one small photo was ridiculous.
From that point on, things went downhill. My tech guy stepped in and talked to the host for days straight. Customer service was lacking and had no guidance about the bots and the serious problems I was facing. My tech guy was laser-focused on getting the host technical staff(and not customner service) to answer questions about certain issues that were recurring multiple times a day that prevented me from uploading content that people were waiting to see!
The bottom line is that things are getting back to normal. I am hoping that I will be back to my normal rate of posting within a week. Just wanted to explain the problem that many people have seen and sent me messages asking when the site was going to be back to normal!
Consider these technical difficulties to be Mercury Retrograde at its finest!
