As we have seen, our homes have turned into places we work, play and they should be a place to relax and recharge.
I am always looking for ways to bring wellness into my home! Who doesn’t want their home to be an oasis of relaxation and self-care? Fortunately, it’s easy to create a wellness retreat right in your own home!
Wellness Spritzer
Nothing says wellness like a great tasting, healthy spritzer like you would find in a spa! Making your own at home is easy! I love this Sambucol Black Elderberry spritzer!
Start with 2 tsp Sambucol Black Elderberry syrup because it’s rich in antioxidants which help support a healthy immune system (and it tastes amazing), add 1 part pineapple juice, which contains digestive enzymes, add 1 TBS of lemon for detoxification and spa and add 1 part sparkling water. It’s the perfect pick me up for an at-home spa day!
Set the Stage
Want more of a wellness vibe at home? Start by de-cluttering your space if needed for a more relaxing feel. Get your fluffiest towels and robe together. Home Facials:
Regular facials are one of the keys to good skin. I have become a pro by doing quick at-home facials before shoots and any time I want my skin to glow.
–First, gently clean and exfoliate the skin.
–Next, every facial needs nice steam to clear pores! This can be as simple as putting my face over a skin that has hot water steaming up.
–After steaming, nothing feels better than a mask.
Use a favorite brand or make a simple hydrating mask with aloe, avocado, and olive oil.
This is a messy but easy mask:
Combine the following ingredients:
–1 tsp fresh aloe,
–1 tsp olive oil,
–½ of a totally mashed avocado (It will stay on your face more easily).
–Apply and rinse after 10 minutes for glowing skin!
–Kick it up a notch with a high-tech LED face mask. LED lights may help to firm and tone skin. They can also make skin look clear and even.

–The final step in any facial is in applying serums and a moisturizer. Apply and your skin will look like you just left the spa!
Make a Place for a Yoga or Meditation Session

–add a yoga or meditation app, and a mat and unwind.
–Increase strength and flexibility with a guided yoga session or
–get in a 20-minute mediation.
Both will leave you feeling recharged!
