ANGEL CITY Summer Series Presented by the Hartford Will Feature
In-Person, Multi-Sport Festival on Saturday 7/31!
Special guests include Mayor Eric Garcetti and Paralympians Cody Jones and Mackenzie Soldan
WHAT: Angel City Sports – the organization behind the Angel City Games presented by The Hartford, which is one of the largest multisport adaptive competitions in the U.S. – has launched a new summer series that will feature sports and special in-person events designed to provide physical fitness opportunities and education and awareness surrounding the Tokyo Paralympic Games. The 2021 Angel City Summer Series presented by The Hartford will be primarily virtual, but also will offer in-person activities for adaptive athletes every Saturday through August 7.
This Saturday, there will be an incredible multi-sport festival at Harvard Westlake Upper School in Studio City. The event will feature track & field, wheelchair basketball, table tennis, goalball, and judo in the Experience Zone, hosted by the Youth Leadership Council.
Special guests: Mayor Eric Garcetti and Paralympians Cody Jones and Mackenzie Soldan.
WHEN: Saturday, July 31, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

About Angel City Sports
Angel City Sports provides free, year-round adaptive sports clinics, equipment, and competitive opportunities for kids, adults and veterans with physical disabilities or visual impairments. A chapter member of Move United, Angel City Sports’ flagship event, the annual Angel City Games presented by The Hartford, debuted in 2015 and is now the largest multi-sport Paralympic competition in the U.S. for kids, adults and veterans. Participants include, but are not limited to, individuals with limb differences and amputation, spinal cord injury, quadriplegia, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, blindness or visual impairment, traumatic brain injury, stroke, muscular dystrophy, and dwarfism or short stature.
