A High West classic, Double Rye! Is a very spicy rye expression. It’s a blend of two rye whiskies, made for easy sipping and mixing.
RENDEZVOUS RYE ($69.99):
Our flagship whiskey. A blend of aged ryes that creates a rich and full mouthfeel.
High West recently debuted an exclusive release of fan-favorite Rendezvous Rye featuring custom label artwork crafted by renowned American artist Ed Mell. Ed is best known for his painting of timeless Western landscapes, a perfect complement to High West’s signature spirit.
BARREL-FINISHED MANHATTAN and BARREL-FINISHED OLD FASHIONED ($49.99 per 750mL) bottle—serving approximately 12 cocktails—and $29.99 per 375ml bottle): Bringing together High West’s specialties of whiskey blending/production and mixology, the Barrel-Finished Old Fashioned and Barrel-Finished Manhattan are mixed with a harmonious blend of bourbon and rye for added complexity and then matured in used rye barrels, creating a rich, smooth and well-rounded final product. The Barrel-Finished Old Fashioned features demerara simple syrup for a touch of sweetness while the Barrel-Finished Manhattan includes two types of vermouth.
High West Cobbler
Ingredients:
0.5 oz Double Rye
1.5 oz Mixed Berry-infused Oloroso
0.5 oz Amaro Ciociaro
0.5 oz Cinnamon syrup
0.5 oz Lemon Juice
0.25 oz Smith & Cross
Method:
Short shake, strain over crushed ice into cobbler glass, garnish with berries and mint
Mixed Berry-infused Oloroso :
Fill a quart container with mixed berries (raspberries, cherries, blackberries),
Cover with oloroso,
Allow to infuse for 72 hrs at room temperature,
Strain off.
Use within 2 weeks
Horse’s Neck
Ingredients:
2 oz. High West Double Rye!
.25 oz. fresh ginger juice
.25 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
2 oz. light ginger beer
Lemon twist garnish
Method:
Fill an Old Fashioned glass with chip ice.
Pour ingredients into Old Fashioned Glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
Angel of Tombstone:
“This stirred and strong cocktail is great on the go. It’s a nice alternative to neat whiskey. This is a super simple three-ingredient cocktail that will fit perfectly in your hip flask and with very little prep time you can have a cocktail that is ready to travel in no time at all. If you want to keep your beverage chilled for longer and have made multiple cocktails at once, you could also whip this one up in a larger thermos flask.”
Ingredients:
1.5 oz High West Double Rye!
0.5 oz Amaro Nonino
0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
Method:
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and stir to chill.
Strain cocktail into a flask and enjoy a great cocktail on the go.
