Today’s article features some new brands of spirits (Blue Run High Rye Bourbon) along with Strega Liqueur from Italy and Barcelo Rum!
These cocktails sound really great.. some I have even tried. Definitely worth your time to test drive the recipes!
Blue Run Cranberry Manhattan
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz Blue Run Spirits High Rye Bourbon
5 dashes cranberry bitters
½ oz sweet vermouth
½ oz dry vermouth
Optional Garnish: Cranberries or Orange Peel or Rosemary
INSTRUCTIONS
Fill a cocktail shaker or cocktail mixing glass with ice.
Combine all ingredients together and shake/stir thoroughly.
Strain drink into a martini or coupe glass.
Garnish with festive toppings like cranberries or an orange peel.

Ingredients:
1 oz Strega Liqueur
1 oz Barcelo Rum Gran Platinum
0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
0.50 oz Simple Syrup
Preparation:
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice,
Shake, and strain into a coupe glass.
Garnish with lime twist optional
Strega Mule
Ingredients:
Preparation:
After filling the glass with ice, pour in ginger beer.
Stir gently with a bar spoon.

Barcelo Rum Apple
Ingredients:
1 oz. Calvados
1 oz. sweet vermouth
Garnish:
slice of Granny Smith apple
Preparation:
In a shaker with ice, combine Barceló Imperial Rum, Calvados, and sweet vermouth.
Shake well and then strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish with a slice of Granny Smith apple. ¼ inch thick slice on the rim.
