Check out this collection of various margarita cocktail recipes. There is a wide range of brands including the launch of Dos Hombres Mezcal; the spirit created by Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston of “Breaking Bad.”
“Mezcal Margarita”
Ingredients:
2oz. Dos Hombres Mezcal (By Aaron Paul & Bryan Cranston of “Breaking Bad”)
.50oz. Agave sweetener (optional)
.75oz. Fresh lime juice
1 oz. Cointreau
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a mixing tin with ice. Shake and strain into a large rocks glass.
Pick your passion:
Spicy: Rim your glass with salt + chili powder
Sweet: Rim your glass with sugar + salt

Tanteo Jalapeño Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz. Tanteo Jalapeño
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
3/4 oz. Agave Nectar
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

Ilegal Mezcal Passionfruit Marg

Ingredients:
Build in shaker tin:
1.5 oz Ilegal Joven
.75 oz agave
.75 oz lime
.75 oz fresh passionfruit syrup
Directions:
Add ice and shake,
Pour into a rocks glass with a homemade tajin rim

One Night In Jalisco
Ingredients:
2 oz. Crystal Head Onyx
¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
¾ oz. Simple Syrup
Red Jalapeno
Cilantro
Directions:
Garnish a rocks glass with a coarse salt rim.
In a cocktail shaker, add Crystal Head Onyx, lime juice, simple syrup, jalapeno, and cilantro.
Muddle ingredients,
Add ice and shake.
Double strain into a rocks glass with ice.
Garnish with cilantro.
Corralejo Spanish Peach Margarita
Ingredients:
2 oz. Corralejo Silver
½ oz. Peach Schnapps
¾ oz. Agave Nectar
1 oz. Lemon Juice
5 Mint Leaves
Directions:
Tear mint leaves into fourths and add to a shaker.
Add tequila, peach schnapps, agave nectar, and lemon juice and shake vigorously.
Strain over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with a mint leaf.
The cocktails featured above sound so enticing. I can’t wait to try some of these cocktails. This isn’t the only post about National Margarita Day. I will have more cocktail recipes for you to test drive. You might want to invite friends over to watch a movie and you can mix up some of these cocktails!
