Paypal’s doing it in Singapore, Tammy Jones is doing it in Texas. She created an app for mobile payments: want it?
You don’t have to wait for Paypal. You don’t have to wait for your bank to authorize a transaction. Sending money to anyone– including your Mother for Mother’s day is easy when you are dealing with SendMoola.com
Here’s Tammy’s post:
Technology behind www.SendMoola.com allows customers to shop using their android phones and other devices/tablets.
The site was built to allow users to conduct fundraisers and request customer payments. By adding an android application, it’s taken the system mobile!
Paypal is conducting an experiment in a Singapore subway system that allows smart phone users to conduct transactions from the subway wall.
I can do this for you right here, right now in the USA.
One method is by using QR Codes.
Print & stick/place QR Codes anywhere your customers are i.e., back of your tablet, automobile window, bumper sticker, clip board, invoices, business cards, door frames – you get the idea.Another way is to have a downloaded app. When the user installs the app on their mobile device, they can simply open the app and pay you with a credit card or with paypal money. The payment is sent to your paypal account.
Applicable Scenarios
A local bakery operator. I’m using Frosted Pink Cake Company in Mansfield, TX as an example. (No she is not a customer as of this morning but I’m hopeful she will be by this afternoon).
I’ve installed the application on my handheld and there are two ways I can now pay her.
a) When I go pick up my goodies, I open the scanner on my device and scan the QR code which could be a sticker on the counter top or printed on an invoice.
b) I open the mobile app on my tablet which brings me to a paypal payment page where I log in and pay for the cupcakes using a credit card or paypal.
Another scenario could be a trade show. Let’s pretend I’ve set up a booth to promote my new mobile payment system.
I’m standing there wearing my SendMoola polo shirt holding my 7″ Samsung tablet, when a customer stops by and says, “Tammy I want customers to pay me with a credit card on the fly. I don’t want to mess with paper or receipts and I don’t want to swipe a card or attach a gadget atop my mobile phone. How do I get your system?” At that point, I’ll ask him to scan the qr code on my tablet.
Now that you understand how it works, let’s make it work for Mothers’ Day. Go to the Gallery page on SendMoola.com Pick out the card or image that works best for you. You can download the Mother’s Day app here at this page http://www.appsgeyser.com/getwidget/Mothers%20Day
This video shows you just how easy it really is!
Thank you to Tammy Jones for her article and her information on SendMoola.com– the fastest, easiest way to send money I have seen, without even having to leave home!
