Celebrity Style Slam: Who “Hit a Home Run”, “Base Hit”; and the “What Were They Thinking” Crowd!! Part1
The most interesting part of the “red carpet” events happens to be the actual RED CARPET itself– meaning watching all the celebs walk down the red carpet and talk to the press- particularly the women who are quizzed about the fashions they are wearing. Here’s my short version this time as everyone from Nancy Lichtenstein to Karen Starr DelloIancono are swamped to their eyeballs. I don’t even think they watched the show. (To be honest, I didn’t either. I was busy pulling images!)
Taking a page from the baseball, let’s make this evaluation easy to understand about what was right, what was missing, what was a mistake and how it could have been fixed.

Drake Bell Comments on Amanda Bynes + Lots More Dish from VH1 Gossip Table.
We haven’t featured much celebrity gossip– not even fashion photos except for red carpet. It’s time to bring in a little “DISH” and talk about things that even GOOD MORNING AMERICA is talking about. (I mean really? When did GMA turn into a tabloid news show? Give me hard news in the AM with my cup of joe and let’s get on with the day. I don’t mind the funny videos– but stuff from page 6? celebrity gossip? Please, get real GMA– we want more serious news. Not just gossip and KK trash).
(Did you want to know how I really feel?)
Living in a Perfect World: What Do You Say to Someone Who Asks …..
I have held onto this post for a while. Now is the time to run it.
I know you all have seen the latest photo of me. It’s been around since the Grammys earlier this year. Thanks to my dear friend Lisa, Hippie Chick Photography for capturing me at a moment when I was there at the suite, relaxed, having had a great time (no food or water but we solved that not long after that). This little bit is to put this photo in context and why is coming up AFTER you see the photo.

KATY PERRY: Yesterday. Today. Guest Post from Mike Nappa, FamilyFans.com
Courtesy of FamilyFans.com and most notably, writer Mike Nappa, we are featuring this very insightful article/interviw with Katy Perry. What’s cool about this — beyond that she’s a hugely popular singer/songerwriter/musician and celebrity (*note what the last word is)- is that Katy Perry is a person with her own life and her own journey to walk– both past and present. That’s what Mike Nappa is showing us today: the rise of the singer and what she has experienced and learned along the way. Read the rest of this entry »
