This post is not just a usual post. I have been selected to be a Brand Ambassador for Toms Shoes #OneforOne program. I am very happy to have been selected to participate in this program. I have worked with Toms Shoes before in many interations from print to online fashion stories and the reason why I chose them for my content was more than just au currrant style, but it was the ability to purchase shoes that are edgy and fun but also manage to do something that was innovative at the time of the company’s launch — giving back on a #OneforOne basis by giving a pair of shoes to people overseas in need of shoes for health reasons. Why not buy fashion with an edge shoes that allow you to give back? I must have featured this brand at least 8 times in various publications and posts.

Swimwear is always a love-hate relationship for women. It’s got to be the hardest fashion item to buy because we are so body-conscious. We want to look like people in magazines but generally speaking, those women (or girls) don’t look like that either. They look like that courtesy of Photoshop. The trick is to understand what type of body you have and accept it. It doesn’t mean you can’t be fit or workout or watch what you eat. It’s about loving who you are right now and accepting that body and dress to look fabulous in the outfit du jour today rather than what you would like to look like next week/month/season/year or birthday.

Talk about a CRAZY day.. and an amazing event, Lovely Lisa from Hippie Chicks Photography were on the guest list for the amazing Beauty Bash event at Exhale Spa featuring a slew of great fashion and beauty products. Thankfully it was a sunny day and when we met up in the Lobby of the Hotel – packed with tourists and business people — we knew we had to get up to the event because we were a bit later than most!
