Toolin' Up Your Feet For Summer!
Yes it’s pedicure time again! You would think that I would have said enough about this topic–but huh uh! I am big on pedicures particularly since it’s sooooo hot out there on both coasts and humid in the country in between. You end up kicking off your shoes at the end of the day and for women, wearing open-toed shoes is a blessing but your toes need care. Ditto guys who don’t get to wear sandals during business hours but often neglect their feet. While pedicures can be pricey and tools and products can add up, there are some less expensive, easily accessible alternatives that make it easy on the wallet and easy to find anywhere you are so that you can clean up your act and your feet at the same time.
Dr. Scholls is well known for treatments to correct foot problems. Now Dr. Scholls has products and tools to help prevent or decrease some of those problems easily.
Dr. Scholls Foot Brush and Pumice Stone makes the daily maitenance a breeze. Scrub toes and feet briskly with the brush and go after rough spots with the pumice stone. Brush again to remove the debris and clear away dead skin.
To clean up calluses fast, turn to Dr. Scholls RASP. This 3 in 1 tool gives you three increasing levels of skin sloughing so that you can get down to the smooth skin on heels, toes and bottoms of feet fast!
Once you clear away the roughness, use the smoothest side to keep feet in great shape. It works well in the shower or in the tub.
For those whose feet have seen the benefits of a pedicure –at home or in a salon– try the Dr. Scholls Exfoliating Stone File. Featuring a specially contoured stone file just for heels, this tool will help you clean up and clear out rough dry skin and reveal softer yuunger skin that is less likely to split and crack. While this can be used in the tub or shower, it’s even more effective post shower or bath since skin is softer and easier to exfoliate. It’s a serious tool and works well for guys and girls.
Dr. Scholls is known for amazing shoe inserts that coddle, soothe and pamper hot and tired feet. Heck I know these insoles work because I have several and I rotate them in and out of my shoes from athletic shoes to loafers to my pumps. My biggest problem (and maybe you ran across it too) is that when you have stilettos on and it’s an open-toed shoe, you can’t use an insert because it shows.
Customizing the insert doesn’t help because it destorys the effectiveness of the insole–particularly the gel insoles. Fret no more! Dr. Scholl has come to the rescue with his new For Her Open Shoe Insole! This way cool insole does the job that you need by comforting feet with a massaging gel insole particularly at the ball of the foot where feet take a pounding. This insole is 3/4 long and thus exceptionally discreet and ultra-thin to provide a comfortable yet practically invisible insole that you can wear all day or all night. The insoles have a soft lining to make it easy on bare feet. It’s perfect to wear with slides, slingbacks, sandals and strappy dress shoes. Sounds like Dr. Scholls has covered all the bases with this insole. Guess I better buy a case of these babies because I have lots of shoes and each could stand to have their own insole so that I don’t lose them.
Dr. Scholls Pedicure Implements and Gel insoles are available at mass market, drugstores and supermarkets like Sav-on, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Target, Albertsons and online at Drugstore.com, Longs.com and Drscholls.com
