HI There! Happy Tuesday and welcome to the Beauty Buzz Blog Podcast.. Ok ok. so maybe you don’t want to listen to me talk, but maybe today you should. This is a good one!

Frank Los Angeles is an amazing  fragrance collection. It consists of Frank and Frank #2, two different scents; two different takes on  a guy’s fragrance that is the heart or soul of LA.. or rather one man’s take on it all (wave to Franco!). This cool line was created by a man who wanted to create more subtle and sophisticated fragrances, particularly for those guys out there who don’t typically like the usual fragrance fare at the counters.

Frank  by Frank Los Angeles was his first fragrance out of the gate and it’s definitely hit a home run with a lot of people. This is a clean, crisp fragrance with a lot more depth and a lot more appeal. As at home with cotton tshirts as it is with cashmere blazers (or cashmere sweaters) this is a great scent for those who like it light, subtle but still masculine.  It’s very distinctly masculine but still able to be worn by a woman. I love this one. I steal it from my SO (significant other) every chance I get (which unfortunately isn’t often). My guy hates fragrances and he loves this one. It’s the ONE fragrance he has that he will wear. ( not for my lack of trying either. Bulgari Pour Homme be darned.. He tossed that one!!) 

Notes: grapefruit, ginger root, green tea, bergamot, cassis, angelic seed, clove and sandalwood.

It’s a very sexy fragrance. It’s the cassis that nails this one and the clove and sandalwood drive the nails into this fragrance coffin and just slay me. Find this scent at Sephora.com and select Sephora stores. You might get lucky if you are in LA and find it locally. There are a couple boutiques in the OC that carry it. But be smart: buy it from Luckyscent.com. You can buy a 1/32 oz sample for $2 and it allows you to test drive it.

If perhaps you didn’t like Frank by Frank Los Angeles as much as I did, then you need to try  Frank #2.  This is a much more sophisticated scent. Sexier in a bold way, but not  " in your face". This fragrance has guts. It’s out of the gate a lot faster and with a bit more power and definitely ratchets up the temperature a lot more. It’s for a more confident guy –or girl. (I like to wear this one a lot). It works during the day but it really sizzles at night. I particularly like it on a hot day.

Notes: bergamot, white lavender, coriander, crushed plum leaves, cognac, plum, fir balsam, coffee bean essence, red maplewood, teakwood, white musk

It’s definitely a winner and you must know at least 2 people who need to have some unusual fragrances that make them stand out in a crowd–subtly of course. These are really great scents.

Ok!! OK!! I know you are unsure. Buy the 1/32nd oz sample for 2 bucks and try them both for a total of abour 4-ish..
