Chocolate Springs Eternal for Emmys and Celebrities
Chocoholics unite!! When it comes to any event in LA, chocolate is there in some form–from Godiva to M&Ms–there is chocolate. Why? –uh.. duh.. because it’s a time for celebration and typically celebrities eschew sweets like that and at celebratory times, they take a break and splurge too!
At the Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet at a lush estate in Beverly Hills, there were TWO chocolatiers available in ONE event. Chocoholics were in heaven– and yes.. even I indulged!!.
From Compartes Chocolatier had the most innovative chocolates that were in support of Katrina relief. Offering samples –but available for order– were Cajun Spicy Chocolate Truffles! With a distinct kick and much like a Mexican or Oaxacan spicy but more intense!! These velvety chocolates were awesome and melted quickly in your mouth.. and definitely were something to savor.
Compartes does tons of other types of chocolates: hand-dipped chocolate marshmallows, truffles, dipped fruit, nuts etc… and everything is done by hand with the most unusual embossments on the truffles.

Another chocolatier at the same Silver Spoon event was known for killer fudge and the largest variety and size of chocolate dipped strawberrries. YUM!! Heaven on earth in a berry! CCBERRIES are from Marrietta, Georgia and have a great Southern presentation.

For any event or just for fun–from strawberries to fudge, CCBERRIES gives you great chocolate treats! These were being eaten pretty quickly and the dark and light chocolate berries were phenomenal! CCBerries or 770.509.0280
The piece de resistance was from DOVE Chocolates gift to presenters in their gift bag: the DOVE CHOCOLATE OASIS.
This luscious gift was to die for! It features a "chocolate consultant" along with an abundance of milk and dark chocolate from Dove along with tasty treats to dip into liquid chocolate fountain as well as solid Dove chocolates to satisfy 100 people! Two actors have already opted in for this "chocolate for a day" treat: Emmy nominee Zach Braff(Scrubs) and Presenter, Sean Hayes (Will & Grace). So luxurious, it’s to die for–preferably dipped in dark chocolate!
