Get Gorge at Barneys NY- Beverly Hills

I didn’t just "happen" to pop into Barneys LA today! I was on a mission! I wanted to meet Dr. Fayda from Bionova Skincare (check it on in the Beauty Buzz blog). Way cool! Because I got to see/meet other people when I was there.   You  need to check out this line. I swear it’s one of the most cutting edge lines out there.  If you want to talk to someone, call Brian Flathers, counter manager, Bionova, at Barneys New York, Beverly Hills at 310.276.4400 x 5607. Can’t find the time to call (or the expense)? Try him by email: [email protected] . Brian’s fab! He knows his stuff and he’s very good at helping you with the IMPACT line (which will make an impact) and the N1 custom blend line.  There are lots of products to this line.. but read the beauty buzz blog for that. The key thing here is to remember that once every 2-3 months, there will be  free facials from Bionova at the BH store. So definitely keep in touch with the blog or Brian (or both) to be in on the scoop. Today was the first free facial day and they were pretty well booked out.

If you haven’t been to Barneys lately, everything has been moved around again–so get your bod in there to take a look. New lines like  Odile Lecoin which is hot out of Paris  and has only four products:

  • OR, je reve–   nourishing gel with soy proteins
  • OR, je vis– revitalizing treatment for sensitive skin
  • OR, j’aime– moisturizing protection with Vitamin E
  • OR, je suis– anti-age serum with silk proteins.

Definitely worth checking out since it’s a simple line and you wouldn’t buy all four products but perhaps 3 at most depending on skin type.

From  Remede,  there are some cool new products– including Sweep for the Body and some other cool stuff going on. I missed yesterday’s FREE facials at Remede and get this, you get a free product when you buy  something– I recommend the 3 Minute Peel or the Double Oxygenating Serum. It  must have been quite an event, because Brittany was still cleaning up the left-overs. She’s very helpful and very good at explaining products. You can reach her at the same number as Brian Flathers –but NOT the same email. She’s new and it’s not set up yet.

New to Barneys and sharing space with Remede is the new line from Sally Hershberger, Face Place (I  think!! not positive). It’s a new line that’s fairly botanical  and I didn’t have a chance to check it out.

Also on counter is the new FRESH Memoirs of a Geisha collection at Barneys. Get in there and scoop some up now!!

Had to check out the fall 2005 NARS collection. I  love it! It’s so cool. It’s entirely me.  I bought Surabaya– a brown duo featuring golden shimmer in a straight brown and a more reddish brown which is ideal for me;  Positano, a cinnamon gloss;  and  Bamako,  a deep purple  eye pencil.  I was jonesing for the  Diablo  lip lacquer, but a girl has to stop!

October 22  11:30-5:30 PM,  NARS  Cosmetics is doing a holiday makeover day including champagne and you can get your "holiday" face done for you and be the first in  your crew to get the new holiday NARS which I absolutely am dying to snag. YUM!!!! Call  Mellody Vere, NARS MA at Barneys for an appointment. 310.276.4400 x 5608. DO IT NOW!! They don’t have a lot of spaces. Many of the NARS national makeup team will be there! You might even see me and my gang there!

That’s the LA Story!
