One of the great things about LA is that you live in the land or reinvention– often with great success. Target stores is just such a store that has reinvented itself courtesy of small limited edition collections that they feature for about 2-3 months and when it’s gone , IT’S GONE!!
Last Thursday, in LA at the corner of La Cienega and Melrose Place was an adorable little store that was wallpapered in cute florals embellished with the Target "bullseye" logo. In windows and on display were several signature outfits that were depicting the launch of the newest designer collection Paul & Joe by designer Sophie Albou.
The list of celebs and notables at the event last Thursday was fab ! The bubbly was flowing and the tidbit snacks were excellent. No matter the numbers of "names" , the star was clearly the clothing based on the line for the dressing room.
Right after my podcast with Sophie Albou, (I was the first of many interviews) she took me through the entire line and pulled items for me to try on. I will give you the list of what I bought (and bought more as of early 8/1 so that I could have the items I missed). Sophie was a doll and took me and a girlfriend and put us in a dressing room and came back to check on how things worked out . How great is that? AMAZING FUN!!!

Don’t wait! I bought the pin striped cuffed shorts, pinstriped trousers in navy, 2 tops, and wristlet handbag that isn’t shown. There’s so much to this great collection so you should buy early and buy OFTEN!!
