TV Guide Channel, an entertainment destination channel available in nearly 80 million homes nationwide launches a stylish new weekly talk
series — THE FASHION TEAM — that will capitalize on the network’s expertise in covering the colliding worlds of Hollywood and fashion.
THE FASHION TEAM will feature two regular hosts, New York celebrity stylist David Evangelista (Fashion contributor on “CBS Early Show”)
and comedian Daphne Brogdon (VH1 and CMT), as well as a third host that will rotate on a weekly basis including TV stars, runway models
and fashion magazine editors. THE FASHION TEAM will premiere on Tuesday, October 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

So what is FASHION TEAM? It’s all about the stars and style, baby!!
David Evangelista has shown all around expertise in the beauty arena, being called the "triple threat" in the industry, having expertise in hair, make-up and fashion. His work has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, InStyle, Town and Country and Ladies’ Home Journal. David is also a five-time Emmy Award nominee for his work as television hairstylist for "The Rosie O’Donnell Show." His celebrity clients include Kevin Kline, Phoebe Cates, Steve Martin, Rita Wilson and Mandy Moore.He’s known for his make-overs, trend reporting, covering red carpets and beauty segments and is definitely a great co-host to the FASHION TEAM.
Daphne Brogdon is the witty, sassy side of the Fashion Team and she targets the bad and the good along with the "What Were They Thinking" sort of “dish” about what’s hot and what’s not in fashion on television. This actress/commedienne has appeared on tons of tv shows including the X-SHOW where she was the ONLY female late night host on tv. Daphne hosted the controversial “Playing it Straight” and "24 Inside" on Fox as well as Discovery Channel’s "Perfect Partner" was the resident comedic expert on “The Ricki Lake Show” and has appeared on shows on VH-1 and Country Music Channel. She did radio time as the producer and side-kick to the "Dr. Dean Edell Show". Recently married to Mark Peel, Executive Chef and owner of Campanile restaurant and co founder of La Brea Bakery (www.campanilerestaurant.com) and is a mom to a young child.

In the premiere episode of THE FASHION TEAM, viewers will join Evangelista on an exciting venture down the star-studded runways
at New York’s Fashion Week, where he will get the inside fashion scoop from top designers like Betsey Johnson and Diane Von Furstenberg.
Then, Brogdon will hit the streets of Hollywood to critique the fashions and style trends of everyday people. Also during the premiere episode, Evangelista and Brogdon will dish on Red Carpet fashions as seen on celebrities, as well as review the fashions worn by contestants on the hot reality TV show, “Dancing with the Stars.”
Regular segments featured on THE FASHION TEAM will include: a look at fashion forward TV stars and how their on-screen style can spawn real-world fashion trends; fashion “hits and misses” from the Red Carpet; and
“cheap chic” advice on how viewers can dress like stars on a non-designer budget. THE FASHION TEAM will also regularly feature in-studio guests including top TV stars making headlines in fashion.
New episodes of THE FASHION TEAM will premiere every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT throughout 2006.

I was wondering why David has a bare head. Has he had cancer or something? If he hasn’t he should let it grow back. A bare head usually confirms masculinity, but with his high pitched voice it doesn’t work. He looks too young for it, too. He has a lot of good things to talk about, so don’t ruin them with his strange looks.
Love the show. David and Daphne are fabulous! I love eveything they wear. I wish more men had Davids good taste. One question what are the most comfortable and stylish heels in your opinion?
