Twelve Drinks of Christmas Begins: Day One, EGGNOG!!

It’s Christmas time and that typically means drinks of all sorts. One of the coolest groupings of drinks that I have seen of late was a spin on different versions of eggnog courtesy of the Los Angeles Times Food Section

According to Noelle Cutler, the writer of the article, there are some really interesting tweaks to the different versions of eggnog out there — providing you are willing to make it from scratch.
EGGNOG VARIATIONS: Here are some truly memorable takes on the venerable holiday drink: on the left, rum-coconut in front, citrus-tequila at rear and chestnut honey-Scotch in middle; on right side, clockwise from rear right: brown sugar-rye whiskey butterscotch, amaretto-apricot, nut brittle and gin-maraschino.
However I have a few others that might make it a bit easier for you
Check your local supermarket for Vanilla Spiced premade Eggnog or Pumpkin Spice Eggnog.
Try adding Bacardi Coco-Rum to the Vanilla Spiced Eggnog for a real kick or check out
either Jack Daniels or Makers Mark Whiskey to the Pumpkin one.
