I love to look at recipe books– the trick is getting me to COOK from recipe books. Here’s one cook book that involves NO cooking but does involve some creating- and it’s my type of creating– i.e., mixology– the art of making drinks!
What’s the book? Love Potions, Romantic Drinks for Two by Sara Buenfeld!
This adorable almost pocket sized book is like a child’s cookbook for adults with luscious photos, great drinks and simple (and that’s the real trick) instructions. These are seductive drinks– and thirst quenching too…. with the ultimate goal of revving up the passion. With names like Ginger Flirtation, Passionate Embrace, Little Devil , there are some very interesting ideas that come to mind. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are included– hot and cold and some really easy and some a touch more complicated recipes, this is the book for everyone– not just those who love the idea of playing bartender.
(This book gives me ideas from which to create new drinks.)
