Celebrities Featured: The Jonas Brothers and Jennifer Love Hewitt
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Colour: Yellow looks nice on her an it was a good choice to wear black away from her face.
Bodyshape: The sleeveless top looks ok on her. It would have been better to choose a lower neckline for her long décolleté line. The Empire line would work on her, but not with this bow attached. It is far too close to her bust and there is no space left in between so it looks unproportional and awkward.
The full skirt could have worked but not in combination with the too high cut neckline, bow on the Empire line and wearing black trousers with it.
The trousers is just another item that adds bulk, which is too much for the look and bodyshape- black tights would have been a better choice, but still not the best one with this dress which would have looked better with a naked leg.
Style: This dress and these trousers don’t work with each other in fabric and look- it’s too harsh! The shoes are not bad, but are totally dominated by the bulk and harshness of this outfit. Her make up is in line with the theme of the dress, but her hair style a la “sixteies” is finished half heartedly. It needs much more hairspray, gloss, height and volume to balance this dress.
Overall look: 3*** Three Stars
Jonas Brothers
Colour: So young and got it so right for their age, colouring, style, look and event! Nice touch that everyone adds a contrasting colour in form of the hankerchief, which are all in fashion, rightly chosen for their colouring but also the right colour to give the outfit a tweak and edge.
Bodyshape: Loving it – the suits are all loose fitted for their bodyshape and they make them all look proportional. You might think that the guy in the middle got it all wrong by wearing his jacket too long, but you would be mistaken since he is sporting his purple shirt underneath that jacket, which is shorter and so sets the proportion of his shape back in order.
Style: The look is so British public school- meaning stylish, edgy, fashion with a twist and all worn with an attitude and confidence if they are already ruling and owning the world. Great look for the occasion- you want to differentiate yourself from the crowd in order not being mistaken for a nobody!
Overall look: 6****** Six Stars
