Covering red carpet events as much as I do, it’s not hard to figure out that vintage is how you can take a “look” and make it your own simply because no one else will be wearing that style. While we can’t afford red carpet fashion, at Unique-Vintage.com there are some gowns that could easily walk the red carpet (especially prom and weddings on a budget). These are not the real vintage clothing but inspired by the styles of various eras.
I decided to be more practical in my choice despite some swoon-worthy dresses that were calling my name. I chose to check out the shoes because shoes can make — or break– an outfit. I found some killer round-toe vintage style satin shoes available in 5 colors and one print with a four inch heel. While the heel makes me wonder about nose-bleed territory, the round-toe makes it infinitely more comfortable and the styling makes these shoes work between evening, daytime and even casual–depending on what color you choose. Personally, I am jonesing for the leopard ones– which is a real switch for me because I “never” wear animal prints. However the style on these shoes and the pattern would make it a really edgy addition to a cool skinny or wide leg denim jeans + black top (of which I have faaaaaaar too many)
