For the movie junkie, here are two movies that are really great for moms.
Enchanted is a fun-filled jam-packed Disney film that’s got all the cartoon heroines and best bit parts from the various Disney Princess movies (and I have seen them all so I KNOW they are there)
This is a great flick marrying cartoon with real life action and characters featuring beautifully voiced Amy Adams, James Marsden and McDreamy Patrick Dempsey! Definitely worth watching when you have had a day overflowing with kids, catastrophes and other less than stellar events. It will remind you that life can turn from lemons to lemonade. (PollyAnna)

For anyone who loves the “classic” films– there are a couple of entries in this genre.
From the Hollywood Glamour days, there’s the Fall of the Roman Empire
This luxe spectacular movie has a grand presentation a la Ben Hur but does lack the stellar performances of the other movie. This is a grand Hollywood epic tale of the decadence and corruption of the Roman Empire. The cast includes Stephane Boyd, James Mason, Alec Guinness, Christopher Plummer, Sophia Loren, Mel Ferrer, Anthony Quayle, John Ireland, Omar Sharif, and Eric Porter. This is a 3 hour flick that features spectacular battles, funeral processesions and duels. It’s pretty true to history but does miss in a few spots. Worth having since this is a limited collectors edition with lots of goodies available on Amazon.com HERE
For those who are fans — young and old, male & female there are the Adventures of Indiana Jones!!
is a real collectable and The Adventures of the Young Indiana Jones, Volume 3definitely a “must have’ since this is a limited release and won’t be around for long. With 10 disks and over 15 hours of special features, and 2 dozen plus documentaries, there’s a lot of digging in this DVD set for a person to see and sure to keep the entire family enthralled (maybe Mom can put it on and take a bath while everyone else watches! That’s a real thought)
The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles was based on the Indiana Jones series of films. The series follows the Indiana Jones character (as a young boy and as a young man) as he was growing up and experiencing his early adventures where he gets into trouble learns life lessons and encounters various historical figures along the way. The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles was filmed on location all over the world ~ including England Russia Spain Czechoslovakia Kenya France India China Austria Egypt the United States Morocco Ireland Italy Africa Turkey Greece and Thailand. In this third and final installment Indiana meets up with Woodrow Wilson, Al Capone, Louis Armstrong, Ernest Hemingway in the early years of the 20th century when it’s thought to have been at its height in culture and degradation (the mob) as well as the rise of WWII.
