Michal Cohen, (KickStart Beauty) is back giving us her superb expertise on how to get the perfect bridal beauty look (note that I said perfect– because her tips are flawless) !!
Bridal Beauty– Part 1
More often than not, women tell me that on their wedding day they want to look like themselves but better, and that is what I aim to achieve. So I decided to compile my best tips for any of you soon-to-be brides out there. Even those readers who are not planning on walking down the aisle any time soon, these tips are sure to come in handy. Red carpet anyone…?
With any makeup technique, it all really begins with your skin. The more “even” your canvas, the easier the makeup application (no bride wants their skin to look cakey and flat in photos). So get your skin in shape! Try a facial ( like the VI Peel ) or at-home peel
Therapy Systems At Home Peel Kit has everything you need for SIX peels! Find it at Amazon.com or TherapySystems.com $75.00!
. Begin this routine 6 months out (keeping up monthly) so that you can achieve your best skin on the big day.
For your body, feel free to test-drive a spray tan. This will quickly give you the bronzed look that you are looking to achieve for your big day. A warning though, this sort of application is not something you want to do the day of your wedding (check out my previous tips – Get Your Best Sunless Summer Tan). You want to make sure you take the right steps to achieve this look.
St Tropez Bronzing Mousse
Don’t forget the other essentials to great skin: regular breathing (that’s right! I said Oxygen);
2 liters of water on a daily basis;
fresh fruit and veggie juices;
good sleep;
and probably the most important part…laughter.
You will feel like you are reaching your wits’ end sometimes, so it’s important to release the tension any way you can.
