Don’t Miss Your Favorite Indie Musicians in Streaming Concerts!
The Hotel Cafe is well-known for its great venue and it’s range of musicians that they feature at their venue. While the venue is closed to due the pandemic, the venue (along with other partner venues) are bringing the music TO YOU via live-streaming.
During this unprecedented crisis, we have decided to take our shows online by partnering with The UnCancelled Music Festival, which is bringing together musicians, fans and venues affected by the Covid-19 crisis for a virtual concert experience. From April 2 through April 9, we’ll host more than 85 artists via StageIt, all while raising funds for our venue’s staff, our community of artists, and the Recording Academy’s MusiCares program. (Learn more here.)
Tune in each day to the Hotel Cafe Stage where you can tip individual artists or pay what you want for “admission.”
The first show started Thurs 4/2 at 12 pm PST!
Thank you to each and every artist who helped us make this a reality, and to UnCancelled Music Festival, Ari’s Take, Fender and StageIt. Stay tuned for additions to the lineup, set times and future Hotel Cafe streaming show info. Please stay healthy, stay safe, stay strong, and let’s get through this together. We will see you all on the other side!
What Is the “Uncancelled Music Festival”?
The UnCancelled Music Festival brings together musicians, fans and venues from around the globe affected by the Covid-19 crisis for a virtual concert experience to help sustain the music industry during this trying and unprecedented time. UnCancelled will feature artists and community-valued venues in the global music industry for an on-going, world-wide music event that will help musicians and venues of all sizes cover missed revenue during the Coronavirus shutdowns.
How You View the Concerts:
Step by step directions to find your show/stage!
The virtual festival began Thursday, April 2 at 12:00PM Pacific Standard Time and will continue every day until the crisis subsides.
It will be hosted on StageIt, the premier virtual live concert platform, and will host multiple digital “stages” simultaneously. Stage lineups will be curated by established music venues (from cities around the globe) along with marquee artists – who will pop in to perform from time to time on their stages.
— All stages will feature artists who depend on live performance revenue to sustain their business.
—Artists will livestream their sets from home.
Fans will have the ability to purchase tickets to each stage and tip the performing artists and venues (as one) in real-time. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Recording Academy’s emergency financial assistance program, MusiCares – which provides critical funds to music people struggling with financial, medical or personal crises. Any affected music professional who has lost work during this crisis can apply to receive emergency funding.
It is important to us during this challenging time that no musician or music venue goes bankrupt.
Don’t miss this event! You wouldn’t have the opportunity to see so many artists for this schedule
