Would you call it a miracle, or merely “Pilates for the face,” which is what in-the-know devotees are calling the Perfect Lift non-surgical micro-current facelift at Verabella Skin Therapy Salon, an eco-friendly beauty oasis in Beverly Hills.
I have heard about Verabella Salon before. It’s an incredbile place and the treatments and just amazing. The thought of being able to test out the Perfect Lift facial was a real treat for me.
This is a revolutionary non-surgical micro-current facelift stimulates, tightens and tones facial muscles and contours. Improves circulation, hydration and diminishes the appearance of premature aging and discoloration–you instantly look years younger!!! Yes you do look fabulous! Come in after feeling tired, beat and frazzled and you walk out feeling like 2 millon bucks and looking like you just got back from a vacation.
The cleansing is fast and efficient with both the chamomilk and the grapefruit as well as a toner and also a slather of aloe vera. Everything was soothing and nothing felt prickly or hurt. The aesthetician, Medea Tchitchoua, was awesome: very gentle and soft-spoken. Medea made sure I knew what she was doing every step of the way and each product she used.
I expected this to be an invigorating massage typ, this facial this was quite different and exceptionally relaxing — and given my current ( pun intended) schedule, it was quite welcome. I think I drifted off , but I know that half way through, I was looking at the side “done” and the side ” not done” and could see the contouring and the firming. It made me look more refreshed. While I drifted off to la-la land at the hands of the lovey Medea who was so gentle and did an terrific facial. As she was finishing up the facial with another toner, rich moisturizer and also the wonderous sunblock (all natural– it is soft and moisturizing without being thick and clogging pores). Truly a genius product — and if that sounds familiar, Well Above Average blogger, Stella said the same thing. The cucumber scent was luscious!!
The Perfect Lift aka Pilates for the Face is a killer facial and you walk out feeling like a million bucks and looking like it for several days. The variety of treatments include Gourmet Facials, Micro-DIAMOND-brasion, Beta-hydroxy peels, hydrating hand treatments, eyelash and brow tinting, eyelash extensions, eyebrow arching, eyebrow A.R.T.T. For those who can’t make it to Beverly Hills, Verabella spa owner, Vera Kantor recommends trying this at-home basic facial, supplemented by an intense massage that gives some of the circulatory benefits of the Perfect Lift:
1. To start, put 1/4 cup of organic, plain yogurt into a bowl and set aside.
2. Steam the skin with hot towels, then cleanse with Verabella Chamomilk Cleansing Lotion.
3. Gently rub the yogurt onto the face, neck & décolleté; leave on for three to five minutes, then rinse clean.
4. Using a clean washcloth, cleanse and exfoliate with Verabella Grapefruit Ex-Foam-iating Cleanser to further remove the dead skin cells dislodged by the yogurt.
5. Using a dollop of Verabella Aloe Azulene Soothing Gel (for normal to dry skin) OR
Verabella Aloe Tea Tree Healing Gel (for normal to oily skin), massage deeply into the muscles of the face, starting with the jaw, working in alongside the cheekbones to the nose, around the mouth and chin, and up to the forehead and temples, taking five to 10 minutes to truly stimulate the muscles and blood flow, and adding additional Gel as needed so that the fingers never drag along the skin.
6 Pat away excess, then finish with an application of Verabella Citrus Sorbet Moisturizer.

The substitute recipe is a kind gesture, but man! it just doesn’t sound as appealing as the real deal. I’ve jotted this down as my entertainment/treat next time I’m in LA on business. Hmmm, how soon can I push it?
