Warren Tricomi Los Angeles Gets Into the Oscar Spirit at the London Hotel Suite

What’s not to love about Oscar week (other than the horrific traffic)? It was a crazy day on Friday as most of the suites were kicking off and it was a great way to start with the London Hotel location where Stuart Weitzman and Warren-Tricomi Los Angeles were set up to welcome media and celebrities alike to see (and try on) shoes and get a beauty touch-up in the same low-key yet luxurious pit stop.

What was really cool about the Warren Tricomi Los Angeles suite was that it was really about sitting in a chair and getting freshened up–whether it was a flat iron, a re-style or a fabulous make-up touch-up with Anna Sui and Paul & Joe cosmetics.
Kaz Amor, *the* color expert was on hand to greet everyone. This Redken color specialist is the “go-to” person for info on all things color– and how to maintain healthy hair here in LA.
Also present was Paul Norton, stylist who is in the video below.

Genius stylist and very easy-going, Paul taught me a few things about how to flat iron my hair correctly. If you remember I have very curly hair and I had a hair cut at a salon where it was blown straight and flat-ironed to do a really great precision cut. Loved the cut, but keeping it straight and wielding a flat iron– which I hadn’t used in about 8 years was something of a trick. Thanks to Paul, he gave me some tips on exactly how to do it — while he flatironed my hair so I could get the jist of how to nail down the technique. Thankfully I remember– but I think I need to find the right combo of products and also work on the flatiron technique and sectioning.
Alma, the make-up artist from Warren Tricomi had me pop in her chair for a bit of a touch-up and thankfully she was able to conceal some dark circles and gave me a pop of color for my eyes. Her choice of an orange-coral lipstick was scary at first — but the sheer color was amazing and it worked with the cobalt blue dress (paired with plum tights and gold metallic shoes). She’s amazing!!
Thanks to everyone at the Warren Tricomi Los Angeles suite– it was a nice relaxing way to kick off my day. The rest of it got busier, faster and crazier!!
If you have the opportunity to hit Warren Tricomi, definitely do so. They do phenomenal color, cuts, make-up and brow grooming too.
