PBS Masterpiece Classic's Little Dorrit Star Claire Foy Chats About Her Breakout Role!

Masterpiece Classics is featuring a series of Charles Dickens books brought to life on film, giving them a bit more grit and accuracy than perhaps other versions. Hopefully you have seen the interviews with Andrew Davies, the noted screenwriter who has done numerous films and BBC presentations and Timothy Spall, best known perhaps for his work in Harry Potter but a well-respected actor and a very funny man.

Before the screening Little Doritt (,see the review which ran Friday afternoon. This marvelous tale is dark yet has the sunlit presence of Claire Foy who plays Amy Dorrit AKA Little Dorrit. Any extremely talented actress, she’s really on the brink of becoming a major dramatic actor on the global scene as she went pretty much straight from Little Dorrit to working a movie with Nicholas Cage in Budapest.
The interview which was done a few months ago shows off Claire Foy after a long day of interviews and still she’s got the light, joy and wonder of all that is occuring in her life as her acting is becoming more in demand. She is fabulous!

Here is the interview I did with Claire Foy.

Make sure you set your DVR to record or set aside the time on MARCH 29 from 9-11 on your local PBS station to see this 5 part series of Little Dorrit !!
