Religion Is Part 2
I do not beleive religiion is wrong. It serves a purpose. We are searching– searching for something that speaks to us of truth; something that lets us know that our lives no matter how obscure or insignificant mean something. We want to feel connected to something greater than ourselves– and we are, (connected to) each other.
it is time for us to see the world and each other through our own eyes, not the eyes of our ancestors. we must adapt our beliefs with each new experience we encounter. We are dynamic beings who interact with each other on many different plains of consciousness– whether we realize it or not. The petty bickering between us is because we have closed our minds to the possibility of change.
What I am saying is ” Change is upon us”. Like it or not, it is the one constant in this world. Our lack of understanding and subconscious intuition is the problem. We see ourselves as different on so many levels but the truth is that the only difference existing between us is in our own minds.
We are the same. One only needs to take an open-minded look at any walk of faith to see that they are all saying the same thing. They are just saying it in a different way.
I believe in love, love under will. We should love one another because it is in our heartts to do so, not because we read it in a book. There is a light that exists in each and everyone of us. I do not care if you are Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Wiccan or Atheist. If you live your life by the direction of your whole heart, how coud you ever go wrong? Who could ever stand against you? What matters is what we do moment to moment, not what church we attend. What matters is how we live our lives, not what “god” we pray to.
