This is the second review on this product as per the agreement with Neutrogena— the one where I had a longer time to use it and try it out under different circumstances. The first review was after using the product for a week. I used this product for almost 6 weeks and bought 2 more tubes to take with me as I went to Hawaii and also upstate New York Finger Lake area where I was going to be sitting out on a lake.
Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Sunblock SPF 70 is darn near perfect! I loved the texture as a primer and it wasn’t greasy. Because it absorbed so quickly, it made for an ideal primer base for makeup application so that foundation or powder applied smoothly. My make-up didn’t slide off during the days when I was site-seeing. I found that it worked well on hands, arms and other areas when I wasn’t getting the exposure I would when sitting at the beach.
It’s a great chemical sunblock and I would recommend that you use this year-round. The texture is great. I didn’t break out at any time which is a huge plus when I was using it every day in humid conditions.
I would suggest that you use this year round because the UVA exposure is a constant– even when it’s raining, especially when it’s snowing. This is one of the best chemical sunblocks I have seen and extremely affordable. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed
