You have the space, the friends and the wine or liquor- and even the ability to put together a simple meal or appetizers. You just don’t know if you can handle throwing your own party! If I can do (and I have done it at least 15-20 times) with groups of 5-10 up to groups of over 75 people, you can do it too!! However there are some tricks to throwing a party successfully that will keep you out of the kitchen and into the mix of a fun party! (because it’s not fun, if you are doing all the work mixing drinks, putting food on the table and cleaning up).
Wine expert Michael Green (www.michaelgreen.com) has some great tips, tricks and advice on how to easily put together a party with a minimal amount of work and also how to keep you out of the kitchen and out there enjoying the party as well.
I was able to snag some time with Michael Green to get those tips, tricks, recommendations (and even recipes!!) so that you can have your own party at some point this week. There are specific recommendations on wine, sparkling wine, spirits, ways to make cocktails with certain spirits that will take the cocktails to the “next level” as well as after-dinner libations that will definitely add to any dining or party experience. That’s why this is the day #4 of 12 days of Christmas– because while you are out shopping today, you should buy some of these spirits, wines etc and get your party started!
