Sweet Sally’s Bakeshop is a New York-based bakeshop that has kof sweets, treats and amazing creations. This isn’t just crank it goodies, but hand-made desserts, sweets and confections that have a lot of “love” in them. They taste “that good”. ” Grama Gracie and my Mom, Carrie. Grama Gracie was known for her Jewish specialties and Mom is famous for her world class Apple Pie, New York Cheesecake, Classic Spritz Butter Cookies and LBI Blueberry Buckle.”
I was sent an array of amazing bars, treats and scones that were so delicious that when I shared them– we were swooning at the richness of the pastry and the intensity of the flavors. Butter makes these treats and sweets absolutely incredibly delicious. I can’t believe how good they were.
Heavenly bliss thanks to a Brownie is what I would call this– except they just call it a brownie. It’s INCREDIBLE!! Thick, dense, fudgy, dark chocolate with a texture unlike any brownie I ever had. More like brownie meets flourless chocolate cake, this was one brownie that took “days” to eat. NO lie.. it was too much, too intense and so rich that a couple of small bites and I was done for the day. I did feel pretty darn good though after eating it. This brownie is so dark, thick and rich that it spoils you for trying anyone else’s brownies after this one. It decimates the illusion of what brownies are– and sets a new standard for this simple yet elegant dessert. Chocolate is good for the soul!! Need a pick me up? Try these brownies. Give them as gifts.
Awesome Apricot Squares or Bars that bring back the taste of “summer” and swoon at the feeling this square evokes. A buttery crust topped with apricot preserves and a delicous streusel containing coconut and walnuts– and it’s heaven in every bite. I shared each bar and it was incredibly intoxicating.
Yummy isn’t a good enough word. There are no words to adequately describe these pastries. This was a traditional scone given some zip and sass with the pumpkin and spice (and raisins — but scones often have raisins so that’s a traditional scone). These pumpkin scones are “spiced up” with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Big Apple Peppermint Crackle is one of the signature treats from Sweet Sally’s! It’s incredible, addictive, crispy, minty, chocolate and light all at the same time.

A holiday favorite. This sweet and salty snack has buttery caramel, bittersweet chocolate and peppermint atop a matzoh cracker– and it’s worth every bite, very calorie and it’s lots of fun to eat!
Sweet Sally’s Bake Shop is anything but traditional. I would suggest if you can get there, go there weekly. However- having said that– you better have a really good exercise program going on or be very very diligent about portion control. These treats will “call” you and you will not be able to resist them.
