While I am waiting on Monika Zands to catch up with her videos, I found someone that has something awesome to say about loving yourself and particularly about your appearance and loving the skin you are in.
Amber Krzys, body image expert & passionate voice for women, loves helping women learn how to celebrate their bodies and stop fighting inside. Amber received her Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from The University of Santa Monica. It was here where she overcame her own cycle of body punishment and negative self-image and seeded the idea for the core curriculum for her popular workshop, bodyheart Bootcamp!
Growing up as a dancer/actress and working professionally on Broadway (Mamma Mia) and in television/film (Privileged, Ex-List, etc.), Amber has experienced first-hand the pain of negative body image and trying to fit an “idealistic mold of beauty”. Her workshops are tailor-made from her learnings to finding love and peace for her own body.
Her passion for assisting women in loving themselves is contagious. She believes that fully accepting, appreciating and celebrating one’s body is the key to liberation and joy, and bodyheart is designed to meet all those needs.
bodyheart is a program that offers women the opportunity to stop the WAR inside their bodies. We currently live in a world that supports an unrealistic definition of beauty – in order to change this mentality, we MUST take the time to change ourselves.
Through education and exploration, bodyheart provides participants with practical steps to discovering peace and a new-found passion for the body they have been given.
