If you tuned into earlier shopping podcasts during Christmas holidays, you heard Mike Dorsey (co-founder of GiftIdeator.com) and I talking about shopping. He’s pretty sharp at that too! So I knew exactly where to go to get the hot scoop on key items that you could/should buy for Valentine’s Day. This won’t be the ONLY post on this idea because I have my own “quirky” selections and while they might be similar categories, they are different in feel and presentation and mmore curated particularly since these are up and coming lines, designers and products.

Love this plug-in retro handset for iPhone & iPad. Not that I want to carry it around mind you. But for others- I prefer bluetooth myself. I think this is just FUN!
Armani Code– You don’t have to be a guy to wear it.. but it sure smells good!
Vibram Kso Shoe– for the barefoot runner- but I can’t imagine this would totally shield you from stones and stuff on the road.
WellFed Paleo Recipe Book — for the real deal diet– the latest trend
For the kid in everyone- a great movie imho.
Tony Bennett Duets: II. GREAT record for that mix of contemporary pop with a slightly old school vibe.
For those with or without a boyfriend, when you want some comfort but just not him around.
Anyone want to test drive this for me? I want to know if it works. There are some men out there who think they can’t find a woman. (They can but they also have to play nice)
For the beauty junkie, this is an amazing gift. For anyone else. well there’s things you can do with the brushes —
COOL bag in a gazillion color and very affordable price tag. Just don’t be stupid enough to tell her how much you didn’t pay.
That’s the end of this portion of the gift giving recommendations. You now have sweets & treats; great cocktails and now some easy to find gifts. The next are the NOT SO EASY to find ones– but they will show off your shopping savvy– or sense of humor– or both.
