Josie Junca, SkinMedica Vice President continues the conversation about effective skincare as we talk about SkinMedica’s acquisition of Colorescience Pro
Josie Juncal, Vice President, Skin Medica.
Colorescience Pro is not a new line. It’s been around a while — I remember having lunch with Diane Ranger— the mother of all mineral makeup lines– just before she launched the collection. We were like kindred spirits talking the same language, understanding what a revolutionary product line this was in comparison to what was on the market then– and still is today!
I have been a huge fan of the brand for years and was disappointed to see the line be less focused in the last few years. No longer is that the case with the acquistion of the brand by SkinMedica who wants to add the efficacy of the brand to its’ skincare treatment and after-care product line so that when a patient walks out of the office- having had a treatment or not– they have great anti-aging products and post-treatment cosmetics that won’t cause problems for the patient.
Vice President Josie Juncal and I continue our conversation about SkinMedica and move right into Colorescience.
The great part about this podcast and that SkinMedica having the brand and bringing a bit more luster and visibility to the line is that I can talk about how much I love the line — easily because I have always recommended Sunforgettable brush on sunscreen. Water-resistant and long-lasting, it does the job for women, men and kids!! So easy to appy a dry sunscreen rather than gooey lotions and creams.
Other cool products to check out include these lovely things:
These are just a few of the products that I would recommend both in skin treatment and color cosmetics. So hustle over to www.colorescience.com
