JJ’s Sweets Cocomels are the the “Original, Artisan-Crafted Coconut Milk Caramel” has just changed packaging and expanded their product line to incluede some new amazingly tasty caramels. While they have a slew of chocolate-covered caramels, I was able to test drive the original caramels which makes sense if you are a caramel connoiseur like me! I am a huge fan of caramels– hard or soft– but love the different ways they can be presented.
Cocomel is so unique because it is made with coconut milk and has four different flavors of these intoxicating treats that are soft, delicious and addicting! Cocomel are artisan-crafted, coconut milk caramel that are always gluten-free, dairy-free, GMO-free and vegan.

I was able to try some of each flavor– YUM!! I hardly realized how fast they were gobbled up– and the others liked them too.
Flavors
Original– a caramel with a bit of a tropical hint because of the coconut milk. YUM!! Loved this one.
Vanilla — a caramel with a bit of vanilla sweetness. It truly is a different flavor than original. So if you want a slightly sweeter caramel, this is your baby!
Sea-Salt— I am a huge fan of sea-salt caramels. Anything sea-salt gets my attention. This one more so than the others — because it just tastes rich and the salt is a nice contrast to the sweet.
Java— a slight coffee flavor that doesn’t overpower the caramel but compliments it. I like it– it’s light but not bitter and it’s just fun.
Any of these caramel flavors would be a good thing to slowly melt down into a sauce and add some spirit to it or just a bit of coconut milk into them to pour over ice cream or cake.
They make good treats for kids in lunch boxes as well as your desk at work– unfortunately if others find out about them, they will vanish sooner than later.
