Sass Ashe Spotlights Hot Boot Looks for the Holiday Season from Ankle Boots to Tall Bootsl!

I had to laugh a few days ago when one of my Facebook friends asked “What is up with hooker boots, skinny jeans and a big sloppy hoodie?” I’m a boot girl, I will wear boots with just about anything and in fact I’m pretty sure I’ve worn what could be called hooker boots with jeans and a hoodie. But I didn’t consider that a fashion look, it was just what I threw on, probably to run to the mailbox. Now, don’t let that sway your opinion of my style, I do know how to pair boots with just about anything and this season there are some hot boot styles that make me feel like I’m a teenager again! (BTW: I do not consider Uggs to be boots, so if that’s what you’re looking for this definitely isn’t the post for you!)

Here’s a store to check out that will fulfill your shoe dream wishes– Off Broadway Shoes and online at www.offbroadwayshoes.com

Ankle Boots

Ankle boots look great with a pair of leggings and a sweater dress. You’ll note when looking for ankle boots that most of them have thin fairly high heels. With such a low profile in proportion to leg they need a little oomph to make them really stand out! You can find ankle boots in every color and boot material you can imagine. Some have rhinestones, some have fringes and others are a smooth supple suede that you just want to pet.

Or check out these cool boots from OffBroadwayShoes.com. You can find these in stores. The store locator on the site will help you find the store nearest you!

Other styles of boots would include

Calf Boots

Whether your style is cowboy boots, flats, or platform stiletto boots you can find what you’re looking for in calf length boots. These are typically chosen for everyday wear because (depending on the style you choose) they go well with everything from jeans to shorts and skirts. The variety of calf boots is endless and I, for one could spend hours happily shopping for these because there are so many colors, styles and heel heights to choose from. I’d be a happy girl with a pair of boots for every outfit.

Knee High Boots

Off-Broadway Flat Tall Boots

Now these are what I consider to be what my friend was describing as hooker boots. With high heels, long zippers, buckles and straps or laces, knee high boots are sexy! I have one pair that my other half calls Bedroom Boots, they’ve never seen the light of day but they sure do get worn often! You have to love a pair of boots that can dress up even a naughty nightie! I’ve seen this style of boots worn with jeans, with skirts and even with business suits if the style is sleek and sophisticated.

Off-Broadway Tall Heeled Boots

No matter which style of boots you choose it’s important to pair them with something that fits the mood. A great pair of hooker boots should not be paired with a big floppy hoodie. Try the sleek shimmery tank top or sequined cardigan with a pair of skin tight black jeans for a fun party look instead, keep your comfy Uggs to wear with jeans and hoodies!

Want to try a different sort of look? Check out these cool tall wedge boots that will give you a great look pulled tall or scrunched down with a short dress. These came from Off Broadway Shoes as well!
