Guys, I know you’ve always been told that getting your woman something for the kitchen or the house, such as cookware or a vacuum is a sure way to end up in the doghouse, but I know for a fact that some girls
- do want cookware
and other kitchen stuff for Christmas! Keep in mind this list is comprised of fun kitchen gifts that your girl will love. However you may still want to avoid the vacuum cleaner!
If you’re looking to see some new dishes on the table in the upcoming year you may want to inspire her with a super cool cookbook! My favorite cookbook this year has been Rachael Ray 365! A new recipe for every day of the year and they are simple and fun to make! This is the perfect gift for the girl who may be a little low on imagination in the kitchen.
To make mornings peaceful and wonderful all around, imagine delicious fresh-ground coffee beans brewing in a French Press, or your woman making you fresh fruit juice in her Sharper Image Super Juicer. You may also be able to drop a few pounds yourself if you can find a juice recipe book filled with healthy veggie juice mixes, Win/Win!
When your gift is truly unselfish and you want to give her something for the kitchen that she will love consider something that makes her time in the kitchen easier. My wish list this year includes the Voice Recognition Grocery List Organizer. Considering I talk to myself in the kitchen all the time, why not actually have those mutterings turn into a usable shopping list?
You don’t have to get your woman a ton of dishes and cookware –though if she enjoys being in the kitchen and cooking, it’s not a bad idea. Do keep in mind that to give the best gifts you have to pay attention to your woman and know what she likes. If she’d prefer new bakeware over a piece of jewelry, then give her what she wants. If you know that anything for the kitchen will offend her, hurt her feelings or otherwise send you to the doghouse, then opt for something else.

Great suggestions! I always love getting new things for the kitchen. That room has become one of the only places I can relax in the house, ironically enough. I think kitchen items are way different than cleaning items, though. A vacuum cleaner is a surefire way to sleep on the couch!
I agree Cari. Give me kitchen gadgets and I’m happy, volunteer to do dishes and I’m even happier, don’t even think about a vacuum!
I went to a presentation recently where it said we all like to be ‘performers’ in the kitchen. So if you like, these are just perfect props!!! send them my way.
