This particular episode of Celebrity Style Slam Golden Globes 2013 is going to run a little long if only because Fashion Designer Karen Starr DelloIacono and I selected Juliana Margulies and Lucy Liu because their dresses and style were so radically different and distinctive. Taylor Swift got in there because she’s 1) younger and 2) about half-way in-between these Lucy and Julianna. So it’s a 3 for 1 review.

Taylor Swift (nominated for Best Song in BRAVE) wore a racer-cut dress from Donna Karan in a deep aubergine.

Lucy Liu Great dress silhouette but the fabric pattern looks like a bedspread or a wallpaper. Try the dress again in a smaller pattern or preferably a solid color because Lucy Liu is fairly petite!

Taylor Swift For a 22 year old young woman, this dress is stretching the limit. Julianne Hough who is 24 chose a more appropriate dress for the red carpet. Stop trying to impress everyone that you are an adult. Be who you are and wear something that fits your life *right now*!!!

** Correction: Karen and I were both absolutely sure Swift was wearing a VERY dark berry lipstick but the photos we later saw showed a much lighter color. So we were incorrect in the comments regarding her makeup.
Juliana Margulies Emilio Pucci did no wrong with this dress and Julianna did everything RIGHT– from makeup to earrings, hairstyle to dress. Everything is perfect and she wears it as if it were her own skin.
