Guest Blogger Amanda Green of SkincareHQ.org has brought us some great GREEN (not related to her) environmentally friendly, natural, organic and holistic skincare products for you to check out.
Going green doesn’t mean that you have to give up value. In fact, many green products are not only better for your skin and the environment, but they actually work better than traditional products as well. Just like with traditional products, it takes research along with a good dose of trial and error to figure out which products are actually worthwhile. In order to give you a helping hand with things, however, we have come up with a short list of our top green products for different skin types. We hope that it helps you in your going green efforts. Check them out!
Oily Skin
If you need a moisturizer for oily skin that is completely green, you should try out Wood Element Defense Facial Moisturizer SPF by Green Envee Organics. If you would like a firming serum that is green but still good for oily skin,
you can try Green People Hydrating Firming Serum.
Dry Skin
For dry skin, SheaMoisture Olive and Green Tea Hand and Body scrub is an absolute must have. At only $10, it’s always easy on the pocket.
If you lean more towards regular cleansers instead of scrubs, you should give the Mad Hippie Cream Cleanser for normal to dry skin, or
the Jasmine Green Tea Facial Cleansing Foam by 100% Pure. All of these products are fantastic cleansers that we’re sure you will be very happy with.
Combination Skin
Those who suffer from a combination skin type can find a fantastic day cream in NOW Solutions Green Tea Pomegranate Day Cream.
For a really spectacular face serum, try out Green Tea and Rose Hydrating Face Serum by John Masters. If you need a need a fantastic cleanser for your combination skin, check out Eternal Paradise Creamy Avocado Cleanser.
Normal Skin
If you are one of those lucky, lucky people who have normal skin, then you have a wide variety of options when it comes to completely green products. You could check out Nubian Heritage Olive and Green Tea Lotion, or
Good For You Girls Gel Cleanser.
To give your skin a refreshing treat, you could also give Yu-Be Foaming Skin Polish a shot.
There you have it! Those are our top green products for the four main different skin types . Since these products are completely green, most of them are also good for sensitive skin. You should still remember to read the ingredients on any products if you suffer from sensitive skin, however.
If you have any questions about what we’ve said here today, or if you would like to nominate some top green products of your own, please feel free to do so in the comments below. We look forward to hearing what you have to say.

Great list – there are a couple on there I’ll have to check out. I use one that’s great for adult acne from Cherlyn Skincare (think it’s only available in Canada right now).
