LOVE the Molecular Mixology Kits. This is right up my personal tastebud and mixology alley! What is a Molecular Mixology Kit?
Just the coolest toy you can bring to the party! It’s either one flavor of a cocktail with details within that cocktail that you can present in different ways like a tiny flavor beads, one large cocktail bubble, or a flavored foam.
The one I got was for the Cosmopolitan but they have other flavors including a kit featuring 3 different cocktails and a magnificent Molecular Gastronomy kit which is all about FOOD and not drinks.
Find these cool kits and toys at Uncommon Goods . The kits range from $30 to $85.00. Worth the fun and playtime!!
Now for the cocktails!! Tis the season to be trying new spirits and I am just the person to bring them to you! The spirit of the day is Lucid Absinthe! Not your typical spirit/liqueur but something more extraordinary. Not everyone will like it but some will and that’s what you want– those who walk on the high wire of spirits!
Lucid Cranberry Sauce
1 oz. Lucid Absinthe
2 oz. apple cider
1 oz. cranberry juice
½ oz. Chambord
Granny Smith apple slice for garnish
–
Combine Lucid Absinthe, apple cider and cranberry juice in a shaker over ice and shake well. —
Strain into a chilled martini glass.
Drop the Chambord to the bottom of the glass.
Skewer Granny Smith apple wedge on a pick and lay length wise across the edge of the glass.
If you like that kind of drink then then next one will probably suit you as well!
Lucid Gingerbread Man
