Truly Zac Posen Spring 2014 is a celebration of silhouettes that shape and enhance every woman, with impeccable craftsmanship, for life’s exceptional moments.
Bridal gowns are priced from $850 to $1,350.
For occasion dresses, the cocktail pieces start at $195 and floor-length evening gowns retail for $225
“We stayed in a pretty classic color palette in ivories and whites, with some pops [of color] just to add a little bit of fashion to your big day,” Posen says of the popular trend.
For the woman who wants to make a dramatic impact, Posen designed a dress in a color that he describes as “portabella,” a “very warm grey color” with a “little rose hue that’s going to look good on a lot of different skin types.” He also incorporated his trademark-pleating element into a fitted matte duchess satin that flares into a full pleated tulle skirt at the bottom.
Another tip from the designer? Make sure to allot the proper time for fitting to get the length and the shape of the dress exactly right, so that you’ll feel your most confident when wearing it.
