I am so not a fan of the Day After Christmas (otherwise known as DAC).
This collection is courtesy of Alie Ward and Georgia Hardstark, the phenomenal LA based mixology (and more) duo. I love their wit and presentation. If you missed my recent video with them (I am on the phone talking to them while they are on video), here is the link to the video and to the post I did featuring coffee-based cocktails!

INGREDIENTS:
· 1-1/2 oz. Rye or bourbon (Jamieson’s rye whiskey or Jack Daniels Honey or Jack Daniel’s Apple Cider blend works)
· 3/4 oz. Averna amaro
· 1/2 oz. NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Espresso, chilled
DIRECTIONS:
1. Add first three ingredients to a tall glass or shaker. Add ice. Stir with a long spoon (don’t shake) and strain into an up glass.
2. Garnish with one Luxardo cherry.
Mulled Wine

INGREDIENTS:
· 1 bottle of Red Wine (we recommend HobNob’s Wicked Red: the sumptuous, bold flavors will enhance the quality and flavor-forwardness of your mulled goodness)
· 1/2 cup of cognac
· 3 whole cloves
· ½ cup of sugar
· 2 cinnamon sticks
· 1 teaspoon nutmeg
· 1 orange and 1 lemon
DIRECTIONS:
Combine the ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer for 25 minutes. Let it sit overnight if possible (in the refrigerator is fine). Strain out the fruits and other non-drinkable ingredients and serve it warm in glass mugs.
Gin and Cranberry Sauced
Courtesy of Alie Ward & Georgia Hardstark
INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (without whole berries)
2 oz. gin
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
2 dashes bitters
Sprig of fresh rosemary
DIRECTIONS:
1. Grab some leftover cranberry sauce and–avoiding the whole berries–add 2 tablespoons to a shaker with the gin, lime juice and bitters.
2. Add ice, shake very vigorously at least 30 to 45 seconds and strain through a mesh strainer into a chilled coupe glass.
3. Smack a sprig of rosemary between palms to release aroma/holiday aggression and float delicately atop the cocktail. Toast to well-purposed leftovers.
Grizzly Berry
recipe curated by Alie Ward and Georgia Hardstark
Ingredients:
3 coins of peeled fresh ginger
2 oz. gin
½ oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
Two dashes bitters
3 oz. IZZE Sparkling Blackberry
Candied ginger for garnish
Instructions:
Peel fresh ginger and cut three coins into coarse pieces. Muddle in the bottom of a metal cocktail shaker until well macerated. Add gin, lime, bitters, and ice, and shake vigorously. Pour into a collins glass filled with ice and top with IZZE Sparkling Blackberry. Garnish with a pick speared with candied ginger. Rejoice in berry spicy deliciousness.
Yield: 1 serving
The Spicy Sweetheart
½ oz butterscotch schnapps
3 oz IZZE Sparkling Apple
Dash sea salt
Combine first three ingredients in a tumbler over ice, stir and top with a dash of sea salt for liquid salted caramel apple goodness.
Toast to the first caramel apple you could actually fit in your mouth.
Thanks to these amazing 2 women for the ingenious and creative cocktails. Given that I have featured them twice in the first four days says a lot! (Wait, there’s MORE!)
