Looking to impress your valentine? Instead of serving the traditional sparkling, show off your mixology skills with this simple, sensual cocktail. The Adam & Eve Martini tempts in both look and taste. The edible wild hibiscus flower adds an exotic touch and the syrup subtle raspberry-rhubarb notes, complementing the apple flavor.
Adam & Eve Martini
Ingredients:
Wild hibiscus flower
Cherry (maraschino or fresh, pitted)
Chopstick or bamboo style hors d’oeuvre pick
2 ounces vodka
(Think higher end vodka here. Chopin, Ketel One or Belvedere. There are others but these are 3 that I chose. SW)
3 ounces apple puree (baby food works best)
1 ounce wild hibiscus syrup
Method:
Stuff wild hibiscus flower with a cherry; skewer from the side with chopstick (or hors d’oeuvre pick) to use as garnish.
Over ice, shake together vodka, apple puree and hibiscus syrup.
Strain into martini glass and lay garnish on top.

Thanks to the people at Wild Hibiscus.com for providing me with this great recipe. If you want to add a bit more of an herbal note, try this with Hendricks Gin or Bombay Sapphire Gin!

I agree that this is much better than chocolate. The puree must make it kind of think. YUM!
