Bargain Alert: Sample Sales Hit DTLA: Cooper Building Is the Place to SHOP!

I love bargain shopping. It’s like a treasure hunt, a scavenger hunt for the best find at a great price. It’s like Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail but my girlie-girl version. The trick with sample sales is that you have to be open-minded, come with cash and some plastic and be prepared to sift through lots of racks and boxes finding your size (with a + and a – added into the mix). The plus and minus comment is about sizing and you have to be open to being a different size– even in shoes. You also need to be open to “open dressing rooms, waiting in line and dressed lightly and easily to be able to try some things on over your clothing. Samples sales are not everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who will go that distance you can score in a major way or not a all. It’s one of the rules of the game: the universe will give back when you have an open mind. Besides.. I love yummy clothing and accessories for le$$.

With that in mind, here are a couple of sales that hit today or tomorrow in downtown LA at the fabulous Cooper Building. Come prepared to pay cash for parking and be prepared to walk.
