JLuxe by JLo opens with a luscious medley of Juicy Pineapple and Sweet Raspberry. The luxurious heart of the fragrance blooms with a floral bouquet of Soft Violet and Damascenian Rose, as sensual layers of Warm Amber, Cedarwood and Musk compose the sensorial dry down on the skin.

Fragrance Note Pyramid

Top: Juicy Pineapple, Bergamot, Sweet Raspberry
Heart: Soft Violet, Damascenian Rose, Orris, Ylang Ylang
Base: Warm Amber, Cedarwood, Musk

Review: This scent is perfect for late spring/early summer going right into early fall. It’s perfect for the young audience that is dabbling in fragrance as well those who are seeking the perfect spring/summer fragrance. I think this is perfect for vacations, the beach (or lake) and those warm spring and summer evenings when it seems like the twilight will last forever. It’s a great scent for hanging out with a special someone without being overwhelming. I like the fruits set up and counterpoint the Bergamot, it’s a great contrast. I think the Damascenian Rose backed up by the Violet works well with the Orris (from the Iris family) which offers a scent quite similar to violets. Ylang Ylang finishes the heart notes as a sweet almost fruity floral that has spicy tones. It’s all about the sweetness in the heart after the fruity notes of the opening and segues neatly to the base notes which are warm amber, crisp cedarwood and musk. All the base notes provide the final counterpoint and long-lasting finish for a scent cocktail that is an olfactory portrait of the multi-faceted personality of Jennifer Lopez!

The Packaging

The JLuxe by JLo bottle is inspired by Jennifer’s love of high-end luxury and animal prints. Sexy and show-stopping, the opaque, square black glass bottle is enhanced with an elegant clear cap. The back of the cap is patterned with the fragrance’s iconic black and gold zebra print, which reflects through to the front, creating a unique visual effect.

The carton includes the same eye-catching black and gold zebra print as the cap with the JLuxe logo embossed in luminous gold.

Review: If you like to have great bottles to leave on your dresser or vanity, this is a fragrance container that is as decorative as the scent itself. Love the cap and the bottle itself is pretty darn cool. Clean but without too much going on, JLUXE by JLo is all about the animal inside!
The packaging (box) enhances that visual by being the set-up to inform the user what is coming– a scent that is both fun and feminine yet has a base that is clean and able to stand on its own.
