12 Drinks of Christmas: Day 7! Stolichnaya Gives You Tasty Cocktails for New Year’s Eve!
This is Day 7 of the 12 Drinks of Christmas 2015 series of cocktails and sips. This is my annual ode to cocktails over the holidays! I am featuring 12 different days (or more) of cocktails that you can make up to your taste. There will be assorted brands and all kinds of interesting alcoholic beverages and maybe one to two days of non-alcoholic recipes for you to try. I have been writing the ” 12 Drinks of Christmas” feature since early 2000’s when I created it for Lucire.com. Now I feature it every year and I love including unusual recipes and interesting spirits! So enjoy the 12 or so days of spirit recipes or posts about interesting ways to celebrate Holidays 2015! It’s definitely not boring!

Ingredients:
1.5 oz elit by Stolichnaya
1.5 oz Dry Red Wine
.5 oz St. George Spiced Pear
.25 oz Maple Syrup
.25 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Seltzer
Method:
Build in a glass and top with seltzer. Garnish with a pear fan and grated nutmeg.
Midnight Martini
Ingredients:
3 Parts elit by Stolichnaya
Method:
Pour elit into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until ice cold. Strain and serve up. Garnish with 24K gold flake.
You can mix these two up now or you can assemble the ingredients and use them for New Year’s Eve. I see them being sipped for that night especially!
