A Journey of Self-Discovery

If I asked you these questions right now: are you satisfied with your life, your job, your relationships, your health…what your answers would be?
Most people are dissatisfied with their lives in general and most do not know what to do about it. I, too, was the same, to the extent that I became a substance abuser looking for temporary solutions and relief from my anxiety filled life. What I needed was real knowledge and information that could provide me with strength, wisdom and guidance.
It was in my travels through India that I was introduced to the science of Vedic Astrology. Yes, you read it right; in India it is considered a science. Vedic astrology isn’t anything like the vague and impersonal forecasts that we see in the astrology columns of daily newspapers. It is literally the most sophisticated, awe-inspiring and astoundingly accurate system of divination in the world.
Vedas – Knowledge
It is part of the Vedas, or ancient scriptures originating from the Indus peoples or their Holy men to be exact. These mystical saints or yogis had the ability to see far into the future, so descriptions of how the world would progress (or degrade) are told in great detail with mind-boggling accuracy! Written records of them date back at least 3500 years, but before this time they were preserved by oral tradition and handed down generation after generation. What sets them apart from all other scriptures of the world is that they encompass all of the arts and sciences, including astrology, medicine, yoga, and astronomy, subjects that are meant to help us on our spiritual path.
Some of you have probably heard of India’s medical system of Ayurveda, which translates to the Science of Life, an important and essential system for keeping good physical and mental health, and is another section of the Vedas. It is said that these seers knew that an age of darkness, of quarrel, hypocrisy and suffering for the inhabitants of earth was coming. The Vedas was their gift, helping us to not only survive, but to prosper.
Vedic Astrology
The Sanskrit word for astrology is Jyotish, translated it means light or heavenly body. It teaches the true nature of matter and spirit, giving knowledge of who we really are and how we can achieve success on all levels, physical, mental/emotional and spiritual.
Vedic astrology speaks from the platform that we are travelling though time and space, reincarnating life after life, and as a result incurring negative and positive karma by our actions. It is your Vedic astrologers job to read that karma and translate it into a road map or a GPS system for your life’s journey. At the same time you begin a process of discovering who you really are, what makes you happy, and what really makes you tick.

Vedic science has always been focused on animals as sacred and spiritual. Many people nowadays believe in the existence of spiritual guides represented in a form of an animal: an elephant, a horse, a wolf, a tiger – depending on the actual characteristics of a person and guidance needed.
